Day 01: Arrival in Bangalore
Arrive at Bangalore and then get transferred to the hotel.
Relax a while and then go on a half-day afternoon sightseeing
tour to Iskcon Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, Lal
Bagh Gardens, famous landmark of Bangalore, Vidhana Soudha,
legislative building. Later return to the hotel for dinner
and an overnight stay. Here ends the first day of your
Best of Karnataka Tour.
Day 02: Bangalore
Post breakfast, you will proceed to full day sightseeing
and visit Cubbon Park, Bull Temple, Government Museum
and Indira Gandhi Musical Fountain. Return to the hotel
for dinner and an overnight stay in Bangalore. Here ends
the 2nd day of your Best of Karnataka Tour.
Day 03: Bangalore – Mysore (3 hrs)
Start the day with a healthy breakfast and then check
out of the hotel. Proceed to Mysore, a place known for
majestic palaces and green gardens. On your way visit
Srirangapatna and attractions like Tipu’s Summer Palace,
Sriranganatha Temple and Mosque. Arrive at Mysore and
check in at the hotel. Relax a while and in evening visit
the famous Chamundi Hill, having the gigantic Mahishasura
statue. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 04: Mysore
Fourth day of your Best of Karnataka Tour begins with
a sumptuous breakfast meal at Mysore after which you will
proceed for the full day sightseeing tour. Visit the Maharaja
Palace, known for its splendid structure, Art Gallery,
housing in the Jaganmohan Palace, St. Philomena’s Church,
having Gothic structures and stain glass windows and Brindavan
Garden - the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam with its musical fountains.
Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 05: Mysore – Coorg (3 hrs)
Post breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and head
to Coorg, having an abundance of natural beauty. Arrive
at Coorg and check in at the resort. Relax a while and
then move on for a lunch buffet. Then later go for a plantation
walk. Return to the resort for an overnight stay.
Day 06: Coorg
After having breakfast, go trekking or visit the Dubare
Elephant Camp, a place to watch elephants in their natural
acts and environment, Cauvery Nisargadhama, having thick
bamboo groves, Bylakuppe, known as one of the largest
Tibetan settlements that is famous for its handicrafts,
monasteries and carpet factories. Return to the resort
for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 07: Coorg
Seventh day of your Best of Karnataka Tour begins with
a healthy breakfast followed by a guided trekking in Coffee
Plantation. Visit Talakaveri, situated amidst the picturesque
Brahmagiri hills and a source of Cauvery River. Spend
the evening at leisure. Return to the resort for an overnight
stay.
Day 08: Coorg – Hassan (4 hrs)
Having breakfast, check out of the hotel and head on your
way to Hassan. Arrive at Hassan and check in at the hotel.
Have lunch and then proceed to Belur, a must of a tourist’s
temple tour. Also visit Halebid, a temple perched on a
star-shaped base. Later return to the hotel for an overnight
stay.
Day 09: Hassan – Bangalore (4 hrs)
Last day of your Best of Karnataka Tour begins with a
sumptuous breakfast followed by a check out from the hotel.
Head to Bangalore and on your way visit Shravanabelagola,
having the monolithic statue of Lord Gomateshwara. Arrive
at Bangalore and get transferred to the airport or railway
station to board your flight or train back home. Here
ends your Best of Karnataka Tour.
