Day 01: Arrival in Calicut
Arrive at Calicut and check in at the resort. Spend the
evening at leisure. Have an overnight stay. Here ends
the first day of your Best of Malabar Tour.
Day 02: Calicut
Post breakfast proceed for a full day sightseeing tour.
Visit places like Krishna Menon Museum, which is dedicated
to the late V K Krishna Menon, Pazhassiraja Museum & Art
Gallery. After lunch, visit Kozhikode Beach in the evening.
Immerse yourself watching the immense beauty surrounding
this beautiful beach. Later return to the resort for dinner
and an overnight stay.
Day 03: Calicut – Coorg –Madikeri (5 hrs)
Third day of your Best of Malabar Tour begins with a healthy
breakfast. Check out of the resort and then proceed to
Coorg. Arrive at Coorg and check in at the hotel. Spend
sometime relaxing or go on a plantation tour. Return to
the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 04: Coorg – Madikeri
After having breakfast, move on for a full day sightseeing
tour. Visit places like Talakaveri, located amidst the
Brahmagiri hills and the source of Cauvery River, Onkareshwara
Temple, Abbey Falls that offers a superb site for picnicking.
Also visit Raja Seat perched atop a hill to watch the
beautiful sunset. Return to the hotel for an overnight
stay.
Day 05: Coorg – Nagarahole – Kabini River Lodge
Post breakfast, check out and proceed to Kabini River
Lodge, set in the southern fringes of the Nagarahole National
Park. Let the beautiful locales surrounding the Kabini
River Lodge enchant you. On arrival, check in at the lodge.
Have lunch and then go on a wildlife safari in the evening.
Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 06: Nagarahole – Kabini River Lodge
Begin the 6th day of your Best of Malabar Tour with a
morning wildlife safari. Later return to the lodge at
9:30 am and have breakfast. Spend sometime relaxing or
taking a walk around the backwater region. Have fun going
on the evening safari. Return to the lodge for dinner
and an overnight stay.
Day 07: Nagarahole – Kabini River Lodge – Mysore (2hrs)
After going on a morning Jeep Safari or boating, you will
have breakfast and check out to proceed to Mysore, known
for its majestic palaces and green gardens. Arrive at
Mysore and check in at the hotel. Relax a while and move
on for a half-day sightseeing tour. Visit Chamundi Hill
perched atop a hill, Maharaja Palace, known for its splendid
Indo-Saracenic style architecture. In the evening visit
Brindavan Garden and have fun watching its musical fountains.
Later return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight
stay.
Day 08: Mysore – Bangalore (4 hrs)
Last day of your Best of Malabar Tour begins with a healthy
breakfast followed by a check out. Proceed to Bangalore
and on your way visit Srirangapatna, Tipu’s Palace, Gumbaz
and Sriranganatha Temple. Arrive at Bangalore and if there
is time, enjoy shopping at the shoppers’ delight M.G.
Road and Brigade Road. Then get transferred to the airport
or railway station. Here ends your Best of Malabar Tour.
