Bandipur B.R. Hills - Bangalore
Day 01: Bangalore Mysore (4hrs)
Arrive in Bangalore and then proceed to Mysore, a place
known for majestic palaces and green gardens. On your
way visit Srirangapatna and attractions like Tipus Summer
Palace, Sriranganatha Temple and Mosque. Arrive at Mysore
and check in at the hotel. Relax a while and in evening
visit the famous Chamundi Hill, having the gigantic Mahishasura
statue. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay. Here
ends the first day of your Best of Southern Jungle Tour.
Day 02: Mysore Nagarahole Kabini River Lodge (2
hrs)
Post breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to
Kabini River Lodge, set in the southern fringes of the
Nagarahole National Park. Watch breathtaking locales of
backwaters surrounding River Kabini. Arrive at Nagarahole
and check in at the lodge. Then have lunch and then in
evening move on for a wildlife safari. Return to the lodge
for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 03: Nagarahole Bandipur (3 hrs)
Third day of your Best of Southern Jungle Tour starts
with a morning tea/ coffee at 6am after that you will
go to wildlife sanctuary for coracle ride and elephant
ride if available. Post breakfast, check out and proceed
to Bandipur National Park that was formed by extending
the Venugopal Wildlife Park. Arrive there and check in
at Bandipur Safari Lodge then head for lunch. Go on wildlife
safari at around 16:00 hrs. Return to the lodge for an
overnight stay.
Day 04: Bandipur
Fourth day of your Best of Southern Jungle Tour begins
with a morning trekking. Return to the lodge for breakfast
and then relax. Have afternoon tea at 16:00 hrs. Go on
a wildlife safari. Return to the lodge for dinner and
an overnight stay.
Day 05: Bandipur B.R. Hills - K Gudi Wildlife Camp
(3 hrs)
Go on a morning trekking, enjoy elephant ride if available
or visit local villages on this day. Post breakfast check
out and head to B.R. Hills, having a variety of wild animals
and birds. Come unwind yourself and relax amidst the surroundings
of B.R. Hills. Check in at B.R.T. Camp and proceed for
lunch. Go on an evening Wildlife Safari. Return to the
hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 06: B.R. Hills - K. Gudi Wilderness Camp
Go on a wildlife tour and return to the camp around 9:30
hrs for breakfast. Then visit the temples and local Soliga
Village. Go on an evening safari and return for an overnight
stay.
Day 07: B.R. Hills K. Gudi Wilderness Camp Bangalore
(5 hrs)
Last day of your Best of Southern Jungle Tour begins with
a wildlife safari. Return to the camp at 9:30 hrs and
have breakfast. Check out at 11:00 hrs and head to Bangalore
to board your flight or train back home. Here ends the
