Day 01: Arrival in Bangalore
Arrive at Bangalore and then get transferred to the hotel.
Relax a while and then go on a half-day afternoon sightseeing
tour to Iskcon Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, Lal
Bagh Gardens, famous landmark of Bangalore, Vidhana Soudha,
legislative building. Later return to the hotel for dinner
and an overnight stay. Here ends the first day of your
Southern City & Hill Station Tour.
Day 02: Bangalore – Mysore (3 hrs)
Start the day with a healthy breakfast and then check
out of the hotel. Proceed to Mysore, a place known for
majestic palaces and green gardens. On your way visit
Srirangapatna and attractions like Tipu’s Summer Palace,
Sriranganatha Temple and Mosque. Arrive at Mysore and
check in at the hotel. Relax a while and in evening visit
the famous Chamundi Hill, having the gigantic Mahishasura
statue. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Mysore
Third day of your Southern City & Hill Station Tour begins
with a sumptuous breakfast meal at Mysore after which
you will proceed for the full day sightseeing tour. Visit
the Maharaja Palace, known for its splendid structure,
Art Gallery, housing in the Jaganmohan Palace, St. Philomena’s
Church, having Gothic structures and stain glass windows
and Brindavan Garden - the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam with
its musical fountains. Return to the hotel for dinner
and an overnight stay.
Day 04: Mysore – Ooty (5 hrs)
Post breakfast, check out of the hotel and head to Ooty,
known as the Queen of Hill Stations with its picturesque
beauty. On your way visit Bandipur National Park and Madumalai
Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrive at Ooty and check in at the
hotel. Spend the evening at leisure. Have an overnight
stay at the hotel in Ooty itself.
Day 05: Ooty
Fifth day of your Southern City & Hill Station Tour begins
with a healthy breakfast at Ooty after which you will
head for a full day sightseeing that includes visit to
Botanical Garden, spread over an area of 22 hectares,
Rose Garden, having a variety of roses, Deer Park, one
of the high altitude animal park of India, Doddabetta,
highest peak in the Nilgris and Ooty Lake, extending up
to 65 acres. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight
stay.
Day 06: Ooty – Kodaikanal (6 hrs)
Have breakfast and then check out of the hotel to proceed
to Kodaikanal, a hill station having gigantic trees and
wooded slopes. Arrive and check in at the hotel. Spend
the rest of the day at leisure. Have an overnight stay.
Day 07: Kodaikanal
Post breakfast proceed to a full day sightseeing to Coakers
Walk, offering some of the best views of the plains surrounding
Kodaikanal, Green Valley View, once known as the “Suicide
Point”, The Lake, spread over an area of 24 hectares,
Pillar Rocks, Silent Valley View, offering beautiful views
of Silent Valley, Berijam Lake View, offering views of
Berijam Lake and Silver Cascade Falls, overflowing of
Kodai Lake. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 08: Kodaikanal – Madurai (3 hrs)
Last day of your Southern City & Hill Station Tour begins
with a morning breakfast. Check out of the hotel and proceed
to Madurai to board the flight or train back home. Here
ends your Southern City & Hill Station Tour.
