Day 01: Arrival in Bangalore
Arrive at Bangalore and then get transferred to the hotel.
Relax a while and then go on a half-day afternoon sightseeing
tour to Iskcon Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, Lal
Bagh Gardens, famous landmark of Bangalore, Vidhana Soudha,
legislative building. Later return to the hotel for dinner
and an overnight stay. Here ends the first day of your
Heritage Karnataka Tour.
Day 02: Bangalore – Mysore (3 hrs)
Start the day with a healthy breakfast and then check
out of the hotel. Proceed to Mysore, a place known for
majestic palaces and green gardens. On your way visit
Srirangapatna and attractions like Tipu’s Summer Palace,
Sriranganatha Temple and Mosque. Arrive at Mysore and
check in at the hotel. Relax a while and in evening visit
the famous Chamundi Hill, having the gigantic Mahishasura
statue. Visit the Maharaja Palace, known for its splendid
structure, Art Gallery, housing in the Jaganmohan Palace,
St. Philomena’s Church, having Gothic structures and stain
glass windows and Brindavan Garden - the Krishna Raja
Sagar Dam with its musical fountains. Return to the hotel
for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 03: Mysore – Hassan (3 hrs)
Post breakfast, check out and head to Hassan. On your
way visit Shravanabelagola, housing the monolithic statue
of Lord Gomateshwara. Arrive at Hassan and check in at
the hotel. Have lunch and visit Belur, a must of a tourist’s
temple tour. Also visit Halebid, a temple perched on a
star-shaped base. Later return to the hotel for an overnight
stay.
Day 04: Hassan – Hospet – Hampi (3 hrs)
Fourth Day of your Heritage Karnataka Tour begins with
a morning breakfast followed by a check out. Then you
will proceed to Hampi, known as the World Heritage Center.
Arrive at Hampi and check in at the hotel. Have an overnight
stay.
Day 05: Hospet - Hampi
Post breakfast, move on for full day sightseeing. Visit
King’s Palace, that houses an underground chamber, Mahanavami
Dibba, a place where the kings sat on gem studded golden
thrones and Queen’s Bath, having great interiors and lotus
shaped fountains from which perfumes water used to sprinkle
for ladies of the court. Return to the hotel for an overnight
stay.
Day 06: Hospet - Hampi
After having breakfast go on full day sightseeing and
visit places like Lotus Mahal, having a fusion of Hindu
and Muslim styles, Elephant Stables, having arched structures
and several domes, Pushkarni, a stepped water tank, Hazara
Rama Temple, a royal temple for ceremonies. Return to
the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 07: Hospet – Badami (4 hrs)
Seventh day of your Heritage Karnataka Tour begins with
a morning breakfast followed by a check out after which
you will go to Badami. Arrive at Badami and check in at
the hotel. Have lunch and proceed for half day sightseeing
and visit Badami Caves, having exquisite sculptures, North
Fort, having several structures and halls and Banashankari,
a quaint hamlet built in the Dravidian style. Return to
the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 08: Badami
Post breakfast, head for a day excursion to Aihole and
Pattadakal. Famous as the Cradle of Indian Temple Architecture,
Aihole houses over 125 temples like Lad Khan Temple, Cave
Temple, Konti Temple and so on. Also visit Pattadakal,
a World Heritage Center covering 10 major temples. Later
return to Badami in the evening for an overnight stay.
Day 09: Badami – Panjim Goa
Last day of your Heritage Karnataka Tour begins with a
healthy breakfast meal followed by a check out. Then you
will proceed to Panjim, Goa’s dazzling capital to board
the flight or train back home or to your further destination.
