Destinations: Bangalore – Kodaikanal – Munnar –

Day 01: Arrival in Bangalore
Arrive at Bangalore and then get transferred to the hotel.
Relax a while and then go on a half-day afternoon sightseeing
tour to Iskcon Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, Lal
Bagh Gardens, famous landmark of Bangalore, Vidhana Soudha,
legislative building. Later return to the hotel for dinner
and an overnight stay. Here ends the first day of your
Kerala Special Tour.
Day 02: Bangalore – Kodaikanal (9 hrs)
Post breakfast check out and head to Kodaikanal. Arrive
on Kodaikanal and check in at the hotel. Have rest and
in evening visit Kodai Lake for boating. Return to the
hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 03: Kodaikanal
Third day of your Kerala Special Tour starts with a healthy
breakfast after that you will go on a full day sightseeing
and visit to Coakers Walk, offering some of the best views
of the plains surrounding Kodaikanal, Green Valley View,
once known as the “Suicide Point”, Pillar Rocks, Silent
Valley View, offering beautiful views of Silent Valley,
Berijam Lake View, offering views of Berijam Lake and
Silver Cascade Falls, overflowing of Kodai Lake. Return
to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 04: Kodaikanal – Munnar (5 hrs)
Post breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed to
Munnar. Arrive in Munnar and check in at the hotel. Go
on an afternoon half-day sightseeing tour to Pothamedu,
that offers an excellent view of the tea, coffee and cardamom
plantations, Sita Devi Lake, having picturesque surroundings.
Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 05: Munnar – Thekkady (3 hrs)
Fifth day of your Kerala Special Tour starts with a sumptuous
breakfast followed by a check out. After that you will
proceed to Thekkady. Arrive at Thekkady and check in at
the resort. Go on a half-day afternoon tour to the famous
Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Thekkady. Return to the
hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 06: Thekkady
Post breakfast, go on a half-day sightseeing to Mangala
Devi Temple, an ancient temple hidden in thick woods on
a high peak. Built in the traditional Kerala style of
architecture, this temple is worth paying a visit during
Kerala Special Tour. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Return
to the hotel in Thekkady for an overnight stay.
Day 07: Thekkady – Kumarakom – Houseboat (3 hrs)
Have breakfast and check out from the hotel to proceed
to Kumarakom. On arrival, check in at the houseboat in
Kumarakom. Have fun cruising aboard the houseboat and
watching Kerala’s backwaters. Have food aboard the houseboat.
Have an overnight aboard the houseboat itself.
Day 08: Kumarakom – Cochin (2 hrs)
Last day of your Kerala Special Tour starts with a breakfast
after which you will check out from the houseboat and
proceed to Cochin to board the flight or train back home
or to your further destination. Here ends the Kerala Special
Tour.
